EBSCOhost database search tips:

  • Try an Advanced Search.
  • Use the asterisk (*) as the truncation symbol to pick up all forms of a root word (e.g., comput* will find computer, computers, computing).

  • Search for keywords in the SU Subject Terms field.

  • Checkmark the Full Text box under the Limit your results section to limit your results to full text articles.
  • Specify a date range.
  • You can also sort your results by Relevance.

Computer and Applied Sciences Complete

Covers the research and development spectrum of the computing and applied sciences disciplines. Provides indexing and abstracts for more than 1,800 academic journals, professional publications, and other reference sources from a diverse collection. Full text is also available for more than 730 periodicals.  

 

MasterFILE Premier

Multidisciplinary database provides full text for nearly 1,750 general reference publications with full text information dating as far back as 1975. Covering virtually every subject area of general interest, MasterFILE Premier also includes nearly 500 full text reference books, full text from 86,017 biographies, 105,786 full text primary source documents, and an Image Collection of 341,655 photos, maps and flags. This database is updated daily via EBSCOhost.   

 

Business Source Complete

Scholarly business database, providing the leading collection of bibliographic and full text content. As part of the comprehensive coverage offered by this database, indexing and abstracts for the most important scholarly business journals back as far as 1886 are included. In addition to the searchable cited references provided for more than 1,200 journals.  

 

Academic Search Complete

Comprehensive, multi-disciplinary full-text database, with more than 6,100 full-text periodicals, including more than 5,100 peer-reviewed journals. In addition to full text, this database offers indexing and abstracts for more than 10,100 journals and a total of more than 10,600 publications including monographs, reports, conference proceedings, etc. The database features PDF content going back as far as 1887, with the majority of full text titles in native (searchable) PDF format. Searchable cited references are provided for more than 1,000 journals.  

 

Newspaper Source Plus

Newspaper Source Plus provides cover-to-cover full text for 149 national & international newspapers and selective full text for 410 U.S newspapers. The database also contains full-text television & radio news transcripts.
